Cliff Seruntine
Canadian mystic and author Cliff Seruntine is best known for The Lore of the Bard (2003), a study of the ancient Celtic storytellers and enchanters.  Cliff, his wife Daphne, and their two daughters reside on an old Scots farmstead in the misty wooded glens of the Nova Scotia highlands.  There the keep alive such skills as horse driving, and cheesemaking, and teach classes on how to live green while living well.  Cliff is the author of An Ogham Wood

David Rankine
Author of numerous books published by Avalonia, including The Grimoire of Arthur Gauntlet,  A Collection of Magical Secrets, The Book of Treasure Spirits, The Book of Gold, Climbing the Tree of Life, The Cosmic Shekinah, Practical Qabalah Magick, The Isles of the Many Gods, and The Guises of the Morrigan.

Donald Tyson
Donald Tyson is best known as the author of numerous nonfiction books on the traditions of Western magic. He has written about such varied topics as the Tarot, the runes, the Kabbalah, Enochian magic, astral projection and spirit evocation. He is also the editor of annotated modernized editions of the occult classics Demonology by King James the First, The Three Books of Occult Philosophy by Cornelius Agrippa, and Agrippa’s Fourth Book of Occult Philosophy. Frederic Lamond
Author of The Divine Struggle published by Avalonia in 2007, Frederic Lamond is one of the surviving members of Gerald Gardner’s (founder of modern Wicca) Coven.  Frederic is alsothe author of several other works on modern pagan and wiccan topics, and lives in Austria.

Georgi Mishev
Georgi Mishev (Plovdiv, Bulgaria) is the author of Thracian Magic.  He is a Priest and co-founder of the Threskeia, a pagan tradition based on the beliefs of ancient Thrace. Blessed by being a member of family of healers and trained in folk traditional magic, Georgi is a Bachelor in German and Russian language and has a Master’s degree in the field of Preservation of cultural heritage. Jan Fries
The author of Kali Kaula published by Avalonia in 2010, Jan Fries is one of the leading magickal authors of the 21st century.  Jan is known for his exciting and practical works, and the breadth of scholarship which he infuses them with.  He lives and works in Germany.

Jean-Luc Chaumeil
Jean-Luc Chaumeil is a leading French journalist, as well as being an artist and author.  He is the author of The Priory of Sion published by Avalonia in 2010 has been researching the mysteries of Rennes Le Chataux since the 1970′s.  He is the Great Master of the Grand Loge Independante et Régulière de Memphis Misraïm (with three lodges, Héliopolis, Fénelon-Ramsay and marquis de Chefdebien) and he is is Chevalier of Palestine in the hermetic college, with two Ateliers of Theurgy from the Myrian therapeutic branch and from the Great Order of Osiris as a member of the Rose-croix. 

John Canard
English Root Magician John Canard’s first book Defences of the Witches Craft was published by Avalonia in 2008. Having misspent most of his youth in the Cambridgeshire fens, John met the woman of his dreams, who he still believes to be only part human and moved with her to Somerset (UK) to live the wild life.  They live on a small farm where John spends his time tending a menagerie of animals and growing organic produce.Defences of the Witches’ Craft is his first book, and he is also working on a number of other projects related to traditional magick, witchcraft and root cunning.

Katie Gerrard
Avalonia published the writer and teacher Katie Gerrard’s  books Odin’s Gateways (2009) and Seidr the Gate is Open(2011).  Katie is a writer, researcher and workshop facilitator with a passion for the magic of the Runes and Seidr.  She has been studying the different forms of Norse magic and working with the Norse Gods since discovering them in the 1990s, when she was at university in West Wales.  When she is not doing things of a magickal persuasion she enjoys creative pursuits such as fashion design, sewing, and various handicrafts.  She lives in London with her husband, daughter, and fat idiot cat.

Kim Huggens
Kim Huggens is a researcher and author, focusing on the malefic-erotic magic of the Late Antique period, world mythology, Tarot, and Vodou. Kim is the editor of two anthologies published by Avalonia, being From a Drop of Water and Vs. She is a Tarot reader of 17 years experience, and co-creator of Sol Invictus: The God Tarot with Nic Phillips. She is the author of the Llewellyn book, Tarot 101: Mastering the Art of Reading the Cards (June 2010) and also writes articles and papers for various anthologies and journals. Kim is a Vodou practitioner and Hounsi Lave Tet with Sosyete Gade Nou Leve, and Body Master of the Tamion Camp of the Ordo Templi Orientis. In her spare time she makes jewellery, sequin flags and spirit dolls, runs Tarot workshops and classes, writes short fiction, and roleplays.

Lesley Jackson
Lesley Jackson is the author of Thoth – God of Wisdom.

Marion Pearce
Marion Pearce is the author of several books and articles on Celtic, Norse and Roman history and culture.  Her work has been published in magazines in the UK and internationally. She is the editor of Pentacle Magazine, the biggest independent pagan magazine in the UK, which she founded in 2002; and was formerly the editor of Pagan Dawn, the magazine of the Pagan Federation.   Marion’s book The Gods of the Vikingswas published by Avalonia in 2011, with illustrations by visionary artist Emily Carding.

Paul Harry Barron
Paul Harry Barron is a linguist, whose knowledge and interest in practical Qabalah developed out of an early interest in Jewish spirituality, magic and holistic healing.  He is the translator of The Book of Gold (2010) and The Complete Grimoire of Pope Honorius.  In 2010 his Mini-Cwrs Esperanto was the first Esperanto textbook to bbe published in the Welsh language.  He is a qualified Acupuncturist and practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) who lives and works in Wales.

Payam Nabarz
Persian born Payam Nabarz is a Sufi and a practicing Dervish. He is a Druid in the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids, and a co-founder of its Nemeton of the Stars Grove. Magi Nabarz is a revivalist of the Temple of Mithras, and has written and edited a number of works on Mithras. He has also worked with the Golden Dawn system, Thelema, Nath Tantra, Wicca, and the Craft.  He was the founder of Spirit of Peace, a charitable organisation dedicated to personal inner peace and world peace via interfaith dialogue between different spiritual paths.  Avalonia published Payam’s luminary work Stellar Magicin 2009; we will soon also be publishing an anthology all about the Goddess Anahita edited by Payam.

Sorita d’Este
Sorita d’Este is the founder and owner of Avalonia, which started as a community website in 1997, developing into a publishing company with the publication of her first book with David Rankine, The Guises of the Morrigan.  Numerous of Sorita’s works have been published by Avalonia, including the anthologies Hekate Her Sacred Fires, Hekate Keys to the Crossroads, Priestesses Pythonesses & Sibyls and Both Sides of Heaven.  She is also the co-author of Hekate Liminal Rites, Practical Planetary Magick and Visions of the Cailleach, and author of Artemis Virgin Goddess of the Sun and Moon.

Tara Sanchez
Tara is the author of The Temple of Hekate.  She is a Torchbearer of the Covenant of Hekate, and previously contributed to the anthology Hekate: Her Sacred Fires (2010).  She was also one of the key facilitators of the Rite of Her Sacred Fires (2010) with Sorita d’Este, a worldwide ceremony which was held for the first time during the Full Moon of May 2010. Thea Faye
