Wicca & Witchcraft

Since the publication of Gerald Gardner’s books in the 1950?s, initiatory Wicca has become one of the most popular and influential modern magical traditions, spreading all over the world. Wicca is often interchangeably associated with witchcraft, however the latter refers to the usually regionally localised practices of witches found around the world, which vary hugely in their sources and influences.

This section includes both scholarly works, such as the highly recommended Wicca Magickal Beginnings by d’Este and Rankine, as well as a number of titles with practical “how to” instruction and advice.  We also recommend you explore the “Modern Paganism” section for further titles which might be of interest, as titles in that section may also contain witchcraft and witchcraft-related practices.
